Discover the Basilica of Sainte-Anne de Beaupré, built in 1923 on the site of the original 1658 church. Saint Anne, the grandmother of Jesus, holds a place of honour in a multitude of churches and chapels dedicated to her. Still today, a relic of her arm can be seen at the Shrine. Every year, nearly a million visitors from all different countries make the journey to connect with their inner self and admire the architecture and beauty of this site, which is the oldest pilgrimage site in North America.

In the footsteps of Georges III

The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity offers private or group tours and a brand-new virtual tour with its patron, King George III, ruler of Great Britain and Ireland in the 18th and 19th centuries. With a guide, you’ll explore this magnificent heritage building commissioned by the King in 1804. Did you know George III was committed to protecting the arts and sciences? He also owned one of the largest private libraries in Europe, consisting of 65,000 printed volumes.

The Cathedral also features a permanent exhibit entitled “The King’s Gift,” which includes, among other objects, ten silver coins once commissioned by King George III.
