Situated on the north-east corner of Square Phillips, in the heart of downtown Montreal, Christ Church Cathedral is intimately linked to the history of the development of Montreal. The neo-gothic building was designed by English architect Frank Wills, and opened in 1859. It includes a beautiful range of pre-raphaelite stained glass windows, carvings and statues. The Cathedral is open daily.
