Located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, the city of Trois-Pistoles is known for its historical and religious heritage. The Corporation du patrimoine et du tourisme religieux des Trois-Pistoles (religious tourism and heritage corporation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting this heritage through cultural and tourism activities. The city’s Notre-Dame-des-Neiges church, a jewel of the region’s heritage, welcomes thousands of tourists every year and offers guided or audio-guided tours in French and English in high season. Other activities include a tour inspired by the legends surrounding the construction of the church, and a wider tour that takes you through downtown Trois-Pistoles. A surprising place to discover!
