History museum dedicated to the memory of Jeanne Mance and the Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph. Explore the origins of Montreal, the history of the city’s first hospital, and the exceptional women who ran the hospital until 1973. Through the permanent exhibition, discover the unique artifacts and archives of the Religious Hospitallers, many of which date back to the early days of the colony. Through these objects, experience the evolution of medecine and the health crises that the population of Montreal suffered. Guided visits to the garden, the monastery, the chapel, and the crypt of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint-Joseph are offered on certain dates.
